First things, first! I made a translation error in the first chapter on page 32 that is crucial to the story in general. I’ve updated the chapter, and you should go back and re-read the last half of chapter 1 to re-adjust how your mind exits chapter 1. I’m sorry about the mistake. It was an easy mistake to make and I understand why I made it. Hahaha! Those of you who understand how “yes” and “no” can sound the same in Japanese, may understand where I’m coming from *wink*.
Anyhow…poor, poor Hamare. He’s gotten himself into a mess of trouble. Considering his arrogance, he’s getting exactly what he deserves. Yes, Homare, life is a game of give and take. You don’t only get to be on the taking side. Read the rest of this entry
This is a trial of the series “Servamp” from Comic Gene. I’m feeling very ambivalent about bringing yet another vampire series into English, so I’m very eager to read your opinions about the first chapter of this series. As for my personal feelings about this series, I could take it or leave it and, therefore, I want to try out some of the other Comic Gene series before committing to this one. I’m also very open to not doing this series so another group who’s more enthusiastic about it can do it. Anyhow, for now, I will translate the second chapter to see what happens next, but I will not be committing any resources for a release until I’m sure I want to do this series. In the meantime, we’ll give “Antimagia” a whirl and then take a vote ;p.

Woohoo! We managed to start “Rex Fabula” sooner than planned! This is our first series from Comic Gene magazine, the Shounen manga magazine for females. I’m still not sure what that means, but maybe we’ll discover the meaning of that concept as we dive into some of the series. Anyhow…”Rex Fabula” (“Fictional King”) is a suspense thriller and the first chapter ends on a nasty note and gives no hint about what this series is truly about. We do, though, get a good idea about the personality of the main character Akatsuki Homare. And now for the links: Read the rest of this entry
